We believe that a volunteer-led organization must never operate behind closed doors. Our community deserves clear evidence that contributions — whether time, resources, or funding — are used responsibly, ethically, and in direct alignment with our mission.

Why Transparency Matters

Disaster relief and community aid often collapse under mistrust, red tape, or mismanagement. We pledge to operate differently:

• Open records: All material contributions (time, resources, and funds) are logged in a public-facing transparency portal.

• Real-time reporting: Progress, requests, and responses are tracked in ways the community can see.

• Third-party standards: We align our reporting with Candid’s Platinum Seal of Transparency — the highest rating for nonprofit accountability — to ensure outside verification of our practices.
